Over the years, I have been heavily involved in the Washtenaw County community. Here are just a few examples:

• Republican Precinct Delegate (Dexter Township, precinct 1) 5 time elected
• Former Executive Committee Member of Washtenaw County Republicans
• Current Statutory Member of the Executive Committee of Washtenaw County Republicans
• Faith Ev. Lutheran Church - Longtime member including serving on the Board of the Women of Faith organization (various offices including chairing the Bylaws committee); current Choir Director (25+ years); current director of Children's Christmas Eve Service; former Sunday School teacher; Vacation Bible School assistant; and serves on planning and evangelism committees.
• Lutheran Women's Missionary Society - current Vice-President and former Secretary of the Alpha Circuit.
• Wing Classical Academy - Volunteer and Supporter
• Michigan Conservative Union - Past Board member
• Dexter Community Band - Founding member. Served on the Board of Directors over 30 years and held the title of Section Leader and Principle Trumpet. Served as the DCB liaison with Dexter School Bands developing a strong bond. Intricately involved with planning two European (2001 and 2016) tours with the band.
• United States Air Force Academy Parents Club of Eastern Michigan - Past President and served on the All Academy Ball committee for 4 years.
• Dexter Band Boosters - Served 12 years on the Board, two of those as President. Chaperoned and assisted with planning of Band Camps (7) and numerous trips, including to Disney Land in California and Disney World in Florida.
